ActionScript 2 was the first programming/scripting language I learned. I started using Flash 5 when I was 14 and worked with Flash MX for a long time afterwards, then skipped to Adobe CS3 using ActionScript 3 and finally started using Flash CS5.5. I created games, applications and web sites in Flash and my first programming job was as a Flash developer. I like ActionScript because of its simplicity and quick UI creation.

Academic career progress is often judged by so-called "h-index", that measures how much your research is being cited. I recently had a detailed look at what exactly the citations, specifically those reported by Google Scholar, amount to.
